Dogwood Canyon Nature Park provides the perfect setting for your corporate retreat, family reunion, company picnic, motor coach tour or other gathering. Meeting facilities and multiple sites for enjoying a special stream-side meal are available to your group in addition to the many activities offered. The unique "nature" of the more than 2,200 acres comprising the park creates an atmosphere ideal for leaving a lasting, positive impression on each guest.

Special rates are available for most activities and are extended to groups of 15 or more people (excludes Guided Fishing).

The Hope Wilderness Chapel has quickly become a popular choice for couples seeking a memorable location for wedding and vow renewals. The Wilderness Room in the lower level of the Chapel provides a quaint reception area as well as meeting space for corporate retreats, etc. The Wilderness Room is available for rental as a meeting facility for a fee of $350 per day plus tax in addition to activity fees and food and beverage needs.

For group events, we typically require an advance deposit of 50% of the total, payable 30 days prior to the scheduled activity. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. A firm guarantee of attendance and final payment are required for all meal and/or tour functions 3 business days in advance.

In the event of severe weather, the activity portion of the event would be fully refundable. However, any scheduled food and beverage charges would still apply with meals served under cover. Dogwood Canyon will be responsible for decisions relative to weather calls prior to the event.

Please call for more details on how we can assist you in providing a special atmosphere for your next group outing.

The first parcels of the property were acquired in 1990 by Johnny Morris, the founder of Bass Pro Shops. The park is managed by the Dogwood Canyon Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the canyon’s natural plant and wildlife environment. The Foundation promotes environmental conservation by maintaining the park and providing the public with an unspoiled setting for exploration and the enjoyment of various outdoor activities.

The purposes of the Dogwood Canyon Foundation are to promote natural conservation and preservation, and to preserve the natural environment and its wildlife and plant life by acquiring and maintaining ecologically significant, undeveloped land and preserving it for the benefit of the general public. To achieve its purpose, the Foundation owns, operates and maintains the Dogwood Canyon Nature Park.
